Wake PTA Council DEI Mini-Grant Opportunity
The Wake PTA Council Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee is excited to announce that we again are offering five more mini-grants of $200 each that can be utilized by the end of the 2022-2023 PTA fiscal year (June 2023)! We are prioritizing funding for new efforts that would bring a DEI lens to PTA activities and composition. These grants are intended to increase engagement of all families in PTA activities, expose students to new programs that emphasize the diversity of the school population, and/or help ensure events and fundraising are accessible, equitable, and inclusive. For more important information and to apply for a mini-grant, please follow this link to our short form: Wake PTA DEI 2022-2023 Mini-Grant Application
PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Our mission requires that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) be central to our work and used in our day-to-day decisions and actions.
