Resource Highlight: Exceptional Children's Assistance Center (ECAC) is a private, nonprofit parent organization, committed to improving the lives and education of ALL children through a special emphasis on children with disabilities and special healthcare needs
Resource Highlight: SEAC works to build relationships between the families of students receiving special education services in Wake County Public Schools (WCPSS) and school administrators to promote communication, create opportunities for families to better understand the school system and special education policies, and create a positive working relationship so that all students can be valued, respected and contributing members of their school and community. They also offer information on understanding the IEP process, transition planning, and special transportation.
